Sedum is a large family of succulents. These plants are
very resistent to drought, and have adapted leaves.
These leaves can swell up to store water. The stoma's
or valve's in the leaf are closed during sunshine, this
way reducing evaporation. The leaves are covered with
wax, for the same purpose.

This is a small plant that can be found on walls,
graves and roofs. When it flowers in june/juli it forms
beautiful yellow flowers, covering youre roof, wall or grave
with a yellow blanket.
