Frogbit is a freefloating waterplant with a lot of good properties.
It gives shelter for amfibians: frog , tadpole and newts.
It's a rapid growing waterplant and decrease the amount of dissolved nitrate.
The floating leaves are kidney-shaped and thick.
In summertime it produces small white flowers.
