Mouse-ear Hawkweed
An evergreen herb that thrives on very poor
and dry grounds. The leaves of the mouse-ear are
special: the upperside has long hairs, the underside is
white and covered with hair.
Mouse-ear will grow on walls> It flowers from
the mid of the spring until the mid of fall.
The yellow flowers produce hairy seeds that are
transported by air.
Mouse-ear Hawkweed has a lot of simularity with Dandalion:
The leaves lay flat on the ground, the flower is very simulair,
the plant shows much variation, the seeds are spread by the wind.
