Celandine
A common herb that can be found in fields and
in the woods. This herb contains a yellow or goldcolored
latex that contains alkaloids. That latex is slighly
poisionous and irritates the hands.
The celandine had a great appeal on alchemists , they were
fascinated by the golden color of the latex.
