are easely removed by removing the waterplants
out of the water. The leeches leave the
waterplants almost directly.

and worms (so not on horses).
This leech swims gracefully through the water.
They are not thread for fishes.
Duck leech
The duck leech is found near the surface and feeds on snails
But it also waits for ducks and attaches itself to the nostrils,
of water fowl. They are sometimes cause the death of chicks.
