Whith it beautiful flowering blossom, the
small almond tree is a remarkeble tree that is
very winterhardy. This tree produces drupes,
that after riping release an almond.
This tree is very resistant against poor,
dry grounds. It is not very sensitiv for diseases.

There are two kind of almonds: those belonging to
the red flowering almond tree , called bitter
(tasting) almond tree.
The other is te white flowering almond, this almond
tree is a very early blossoming tree.

Prunus glandulosa 'Robijn ' is the most productive
and popular of all the almond trees, this is
