flowers during the winter. This flower belong to
the top ten most populair plants since many years.

Caulescentae: These Hellebore produce a stam
with ;eaves .
Helleborus foetidus is a popular member of this group.
Acaulescentachtigen have a separated stem for the flowers and a stem for the leaves.
The Helleborus orientalis is the most well-known.

The very popular Helleborus niger has its origin in the
South of Europe and are used to very severe winters.
In the temperate climate of central Europe they
flower during Christmas time. The Christmass rose
can be costfree propagated very easely by cutting.
The christmas rose prefers direct sun , so no shadow!

Helleborus Orientalis

There are very many cultivars of the Helleborus orientalis,
and in the fall every supermarket sells them.
They have all kind of pastel colors or spickeled or
striped flowers. This Helleborus prefers shrubs that
give shaded in the summertime. It takes mostly about
five years for the first flowering.
