Carnation sedge

A perennial sedge with blue-green leaves.
The stem is triangular in shape and sharp.
Flowering is on the end of sprng or start
of the summer. This plant prefers moist soil.

The male spike is in the top , below are the two female spikes.







    The Cornation sedge forms rhizomes , this is the most common
    way of propagation.



    From a distance Coronation sedge makes a blueish impression.
