    Harvestmen are up to 4 cm long spiders. They hunt for small insects
    That live in youre house and catch them with there long legs.
    These spiders can run very fast. The legs are so thin that they
    bend by theire weight.
    Harvestmen are very common in the woods , they hunt for
    small prey between fallen leaves. there thin legs make them
    invulnarable for the ants and other bugs.
    The real tiger of the woods is the
    is de centipede, that attacks much larger prey.

    Some animals , like birds and frogs can catch a harvestmen
    by one of its legs, but the harvestmen will drop that leg.
    The harvestmen itself will often escape that way.


    Harvestmen and spiders


    Harvestmen are not real spiders, but resemble a lot on real
    spiders. They dont build a web, and have short , thick body.
    They are often confused with the cellar spider. and also with the Tipula or Crane fly., an insect.
