Field meadow foxtail
Field meadow foxtail is a very common perennial grass. It flowers early in the spring, from April until June and is one of the earliest grasses to do so. It will grow on most grounds that are neutral, and not too wet or dry. It is commonly found in low lying areas, particularly in river meadows.
