curlew sandpiper
Curlew sandpiper is a wader bird that winters in Africa and Asia, and breeds in Siberia. In between, this small bird can be seen in Europe. The curlew sandpiper feeds mostly on insects and other small invertebrates, like worms.

These birds flies incredible distances, some birds fly from the North of Siberia to the south of Africa, some 15000 miles.

Knot, dunlin and Curlew sandpiper
These birds look very simalar and can be fopund at the same time on the same place. The Curlew form,s flocks with the dunlin. Knots are far bulkier than a Curlew Sand which are more Dunlin size and shape.
