This page shows the format of the 2000/2001 season for the
UEFA Champions League.
Because Real Madrid qualifies as cup holder, the 4th Spanish team
Real Zaragoza has to participate in the UEFA Cup, as no country can
have more than 4 representatives in the Champions League. This leads
to the following specific format for the 2000/2001 season:
