This page shows a graphical presentation of the UEFA country ranking from 1990 until 2000.
All information is from the
database at this site. This
decennium shows a huge increase in the number of participating countries. Mainly due to
the new independent countries in Eastern Europe. Countries in 1990 at rank 7
(Soviet-Union), rank 12 (Yugoslavia), rank 14 (East Germany), and rank 16
(Czechoslovakia), ceased to participate in 1992 and 1993.
