Sorry Bert for being off-topic, but I kind of feel this belongs to this forum though it's not coefficient related at all.

I just came across a print-out I made in 1999 of this site and wondered how long this site is up.
I also remember that there wasn't a forum in the beginning, when did forum (1) started?
Forum 2 started in november 2005 I can find that in the time I and a lot others joined that.

Did you already had your jubileum? Probably you did as probably found it just after being up???

I wonder now, is there a part on this site telling me all this information. If not it should be there: more than 10 years of service. Thanks!

In the News section you can see that the first news item is from 1998-04-29: Bosnian clubs get green light to compete in Europe. So, yes the date of the 10-year jubilee is already passed. Up to the next 10!

This website started somewhere in 1996 but the oldest evidence I can find is a rec.sport.soccer article of Oct. 21 1997. At that time the most respected source of information on UEFA coefficients was the FAQ: Qualification and Seeding for the European Cups of Martin Protzen. See the History section of this website for historic versions of the FAQ up until 1992.

I found my first post (as Spiros): 20-04-2001, 13:56. I have been trying to find a post that I remember (sure??) I posted but I have not been able to find it by the searches. It was after a degree I got in neuroscience and it was in the end of 2002. I was still drunk from the celebrations of the previous day and I don't remember exactly what I wrote, that's why I can't find it. Bert if you can help, I would be grateful! The date should be 21st December 2002.

seso, I'm afraid there is no such post in the archive. Searching for "seso" with period="all" gives a list of all topics to which you contributed. The last update of the topic must be between Dec 21, 2002 and Feb 1, 2003. The only topic which satisfies the rules is at 24-01-2003, "More trouble..." but it was created at that date since there are no replies.

Maybe your post was so much off-topic that is was removed, or maybe you took so much alcohol that you don't even remember the correct forum

I remember writing "head hurts from yesterday's beers..." etc and I am sure it was on this site. I did not create a new topic, but I replied on another one (the topic was something irrelevant) so maybe it was off-topic and it was deleted. Good times!!

Can anyone tell me the history of forum 2? What were the sections in the beginning? Maybe some functions that are defunct now?

P.S. Bert, is it possible to create some kind of memberlist here, like one on forum 2? It's just quite interesting who has the most amount of posts here...

Hmm, I couldn't find an entry from me in the first year , 2001, only march or april 2002 I started to contribute to this first forum. Even initiating topics, like the 'Horror Scenario' about having 15 out of 16 CL-2nd round teams coming from top-5 countries.
Even then I already had that wisdom

That link doesn't work, ilias, however the Archive site helped me to remember old good times in spring, 2007. No trolls, rare qualified posts, small group of registered users...
