| I divided all values of a nations' team coefficient for next seasons' european cup contenders by the number of participating clubs per nation to find out if there are some significances.
So, for spain I calculated that our teams (Barca, Real, Atletico, San Sebastian, Valencia, Betis, Sevilla) have these values:
FC Barcelona 157.605
+Real Madrid 134.605
+AtlŽtico Madrid 99.605
+Real Sociedad 17.605
+Valencia 102.605
+Real Betis 17.605
+Sevilla 55.105
and putting them together and divide them by 7, I had this as the result:
S 83,53
and as well, the other nations look like this and it does NOT always represent the position in the nation ranking. Advantage especially for France this year.
E 79,30
G 62,77
F 57,46
I 56,49
P 51,66 |

| Despite Italy's score being higher than Portugal's, Italy has no teams in Pot A, while Portugal has three.
Pot B in the Europa League though is headed by three Italian teams, so this could well change if some Pot A teams fail to make the GS. |
