They're 2nd in the Polish League, 4pts behind Legia Warsaw. Everyone else is trailing in the wake of these two.
I wonder if this will translate into Europe next season, teams might do well in an away first leg, only to get a shock at home! |

| Something quite similar, but not so extreme, is happening to CFR Cluj.
Home record: 4-5-5 ... 17/42 pts - only 4 teams are worse Away record: 7-5-3 ... 26/45 pts - only Steaua is better
They are 9th, though. And their only reasonable chance of getting an EL ticket is through the Cup. Tomorrow they'll host CS Turnu Severin, so their home record could be improved. |

Edited by: SirHenri at: 08-05-2013, 16:07 | Maybe every league has such a strange team ?
I checked the Bundesliga, and here we go : VFL Wolfsburg
Home record - W3, D7, L6 - 16/48pts. Away record - W7, D4, L5 - 25/48pts.
They are 17th in the home table (so that would mean direct relegation) And they're 3rd in the away-table (direct CL !)
all in all a midfield team without any chances for EL anymore.
Btw. Munich has an Away record W14, D2, L0 - 44/48pts |

Edited by: Lorric at: 08-05-2013, 16:17 | There's nothing that unusual about the last two examples, sure, it is unusual, but you probably can find such an example in a league. But Lech Poznan is just so extreme.
Meanwhile, since putting that, Lech Poznan have improved to:
Home: W5 D3 L4 - 18/36pts. Away: W12 D0 L1 - 36/39pts.
They've closed the gap on Legia to 2pts. |

| Well, CFR just lost last night at home to CS Turnu Severin (which was 16th placed before the MD), so their home record is now 4-5-6 or 17/45 pts. All they need to do is win the remaining 2 away games and they'll start to look more like Lech |
