at: 31-08-2012, 19:55 | Last years they indeed had 4 sections of groups since at the last 2 matchdays there were 4 kick-off times (Wed 1900, Wed 2105, Thu 1900 & Thu 2105).
But since the Wednesday games are no longer present in EL, there are only 2 kick-off times in each matchday, and so there is no need for 4 sections of groups any more. 2 sections (A-F & G-L) is enough now.
And so it doesn't matter in which 2 groups of section G-L the German teams are, since all 6 groups play their games at the same time. |
