Turkish Participation

Turkish FA sent five clubs names for UEFA Competitions, officially.
UCL : Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe
UEL : Trabzonspor, Besiktas, and Bursaspor

UEFA sent an e-mail to Turkish FA yesterday and approved Galatasaray and Trabzonspor.

Besiktas and Bursaspor were penalized by UEFA earlier for financial resons. Both clubs took the matter to CAS. Their case will be discussed and ruled on June 25th. Depending upon the outcome of the decision, Turkish participation will change.
Three clubs waiting the decision are Eskisehir, Istanbul BB, Sivasspor in that order.

For Turkish FA's actions during the bribery scandal most people were afraid that Turkey would have been banned from all club and national competitions. This e-mail proves that there will be no penalty to Turkey.

Not approving Besiktas and Bursaspor may be because of the CAS case.
Nothing was mentioned in the e-mail about Fenerbahçe. That may mean UEFA may ban Fenerbahçe this year again.

We will wait and see what the outcome of the CAS cases and UEFA's decision on the bribery scandal will be.

My predictions (I am usually wrong predicting on Turkish clubs):
Bursaspor will win CAS case and Besiktas will lose.
Fenerbahçe and Besiktas will be banned for the bribery scandal.

So the Turkish participation may be shaped as:
UCL : Gaqlatasaray, Trabzonspor
UEL : Bursaspor, Eskisehir, Istanbul BB

Is there still a chance for Fener to be banned?

Beşiktaş is out according to CAS.

So Eskişehirspor is in, regardless of the Fenerbahçe case (I personally don't think they will be banned again).

"My predictions (I am usually wrong predicting on Turkish clubs):
Bursaspor will win CAS case and Besiktas will lose.
Fenerbahçe and Besiktas will be banned for the bribery scandal."

So far both of my predictions on CAS cases are right.

What's the status with Fener's case? Will they be eligible to participate in European Competitions?

@ CySuP

First link is telling that there was a heavy e-mail traffic between UEFA and Turkish FA (TFF). UEFA has asked tff the situation after civil court penalizing FB president and a lot of sport personalities. UEFA asked Fenerbahçe president mostly.

Turkish FA replied:
"The case went to an upper court for appeal ın civil court. It is npt finalized. The civil laws and spotive laws are different. Turkish FA ruled that there were no bribery and found FB president not guilty in all charges. WE ruled according to our organs and that is the final decision. Trust us and our decision."

A reply is expected midweek.

The second lınk was from a TV show.
One of the commentator, Engin Verel, an ex-FB and national team player who follows and writes on Fenerbahçe at a newspaper as well, told that 30 million dollars were paid to Fenerbahçe under the table to withdraw their case at CAS. The bargaining took 2-3 months. He didn't explain who paid and if UEFA and TFF know this agreement.

"UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino said the status of Fenerbahce - which finished second in May to qualify for this season's competition - could still change. UEFA disciplinary inspectors are studying files including Turkish Football Federation decisions which cleared the club's entry.

"It's a complicated case and our disciplinary bodies are going through the procedure,'' Infantino told The Associated Press after the draw. "It's a big dossier. It's literally thousands of pages of work.''

The officials from the Turkish club declined to comment Friday.

Fenerbahce is scheduled to host Vaslui on July 31 or Aug. 1. The club could still be expelled after having played.

And what, if Fenerbace will be excluded? Direct bye for Vaslui to CL-PO, and bye for Dnipro (Cup Winner Rank #8) from EL-PO to EL-GS?

That will depend on when Fenerbahçe will be excluded. If there is no time any more to replace them then Vaslui should get a bye. And also a open spot will arise in EL-Q4. That can be fixed by giving Metalist Kharkiv a bye into EL-GS.

If there is time to replace Fenerbahçe then Trabzonspor will play Vaslui, Bursaspor will be directly qualified for EL-Q4. Bursaspor's opponent in EL-Q3 (Kuopio or Netanya) could then get a bye or play Eskisehirspor if they are eliminated in EL-Q2.
