| In 2009 Derry were kicked out of the league due to having second contracts for players.
They were later 'invited back' by the Football association of ireland to compete in the first division.
I believe this warrents a 3 year ban but there has been nothing said in the papers, media etc as to whether they are banned.
The catch is that when they rejoined the league, it basically meant they were a 'new team'. Would this count as a loop hole to avoid the ban?

| I don't know this case, tallaght. It depends on the exact circumstances. But I think that when they get a UEFA license from the Irish FA for 2012/13 European football, and they qualify, then they can play. |
