| Why does PAOK Thessaloniki has 1.00 qualifying point for this season EL and AEK athens has 2.00?
Also, why does the Teams Coefficients 2011/2012 is different with UEFA's site? For example PAOK has 2.600 points in this site. In UEFA's site PAOK has 1.600 points. |

| Last year Lausanne and Karpaty Lviv got 1 extra point because they only got 1 draw in the group stage. Two years ago CSKA Sofia was they only team who needed one point to get to the 2 points minimum. |

| Teams gets these 2 points so they will have more points then teams that lose in QR4 (1,5 points) even if they lose all 6 matches in the group stage.
But as Friesland said, these 2 points aren't fixed. Teams only get these if they didn't collect 2 points of their own in the group stage.
-Since PAOK got a draw in matchday 1 they collected 1 point already, so they only have 1 bonus point left.
-Since AEK lost in matchday 1 they didn't collect points yet, so they still have 2 bonuspoints left.
To summarize it:
-Teams that lose all 6 groupstage matches get 2 bonuspoints
-Teams that draw once and lose the 5 other groupstage matches get 1 bonuspoint
-Teams that win at least once or draw at least twice in the groupstage get no bonuspoints |

| Actually secured bonus is given only in CL groups; you have 4 points in your pocket for reaching group stage. Those points count for both team and country ranking.
In EL the 2 bonus points DO NOT count for country ranking.
They are added ONLY to team ranking and they way the other members explained already, that is if the team fail to collect themselves 2 "coefficient" (win 2pts, draw 1pt) points in groups they given a corresponding bonus up to 2 points. It's like the additional points given to qualification rounds.
So,
if AEK collect 2 coefficient points in group:
AEK will get 2 points. Greece will get 2 points.
if AEK collect no points in group:
AEK will get 2 points. Greece will get 0 points. |
