Netherlands- AZ,PSV,Ajax,Twente Greece- Pana, Olimpiacos, PAOK, AEK Turkey- Fener, Besiktas
Result: Greece and Netherlands compete dependent on the team performances in the following rounds, Netherlands with a slight advantage |

| I agree. 2.5 points is more than a slight advantage. The draw of the GS will give more information. |

Edited by: Lorric at: 12-08-2011, 03:03 | The match between Panathinaikos and Maccabi Tel Aviv is very interesting to me. Last year Olympiakos were scalped by Maccabi Tel Aviv in ELQ3. Can they scalp the other big Greek club too? Israeli clubs have a strong record against Greek ones. |

| it will be also too interesting according to indicating last year's euroleague final match revenge. If greek side wouldn't transfer obradovic for a single matche, i think maccabi will take the revenge this time.. |

| Well, looks like Panathinaikos got battered, at least going by the 3-0 victory for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Meanwhile, the "smaller" Greek clubs won their matches. While the "big" Tel Aviv club, Hapoel Tel Aviv, lost 1-0 to Ekranas, a team which until Differdange were put in to the playoff round, I personally considered the weakest team left in the whole competition. Madness! |

| With Ol. Vol. and Panathinaikos out, things will get harder for Greece to get to 9th (by the way uefa.com ranking still gives Greece as 5/5 teams playing ). Holland also did not do too well, AZ losing and PSV only drawing, no away-goal. For Turkey Besiktas did well, but Bursaspor lost at home, whil Tranzonspor is looking like bringing a surprise. Next week will clear some things up here.
By the way, is there any news from the Turkish FA about the possible fraude of Fenerbahce and/or other teams? |

Edited by: psychoTurk at: 19-08-2011, 17:40 | Turkish Football Federation said they will wait for the court decision which may take months maybe years. It is clear that TFF doesn't want to punish Fenerbahçe or any big teams such as Beşiktaş or Trabzon. Turkish clubs will participate UEFA competitions in this year. |

| OK, so for Greece a team was 'withdrawn' and for Turkey now too.
End of battle?
Or will one of the Dutch teams now also suffer.....(I haven't heared any rumours yet, but you never know.) |
