| They never existed.
Only the Top15 countries send more than one team into the CL/CL-Q. As there are 5 places reserved for them in the group stage there is only need for 2 rounds: the playoff (5 games) and the non-champion qualification round 3 (5 games). |

| Yes but why are they not called NCQ1 and 2 then? How can you have a third qualifying round without the first two? |

| To copy the champions path. The rounds are played at the same time, and that's easier to read, we can speak of the CLqR3-4 for the qRounds of CL. |

| And I guess the points awarded for progressing through are similarly higher? |

| In the Champions League you get: 0,5 points if you are eliminated in QR1 1 point if you are eliminated in QR2 for elimination in QR3 and QR4 you don't get points, since these clubs go on in the Europa League
In the Europa League you get: 0,25 points if you are eliminated in QR1 0,5 points if you are eliminated in QR2 1 point if you are eliminated in QR3 1,5 points if you are eliminated in QR4 a minimum of 2 points if you reach the GS (if you lose all 6 games you get 2 bonuspoints, if you draw 1 game and lose 5 you get 1 bonuspoint, if you win at least 1 game or draw 2 games you get no bonuspoints) |
