| Have you checked whether all %'s of two paired teams add up to 100%?
Actually, I would not try to put %, as it is very difficult to assess the exact chances. As I am among the top players in South region of Gimli Cup (Forum 2), I would say that the chances of Litex are not smaller than the ones of Loko Sofia. As regards Cherno More, they face the weaker Israeli team, which is also a newcommer as they are. So, on what basis I should assume that a lower coefficient newcommer is better than a higher coefficient one?
Anyway, I am a bit ego-centric (maybe country-centric) to speak only about Bulgaria, but I have a "home" advantage in predictions and in prediction games I proved I can use very well my home advantage... ![](include/smilies/s0.gif) |

| Daniel,
Vojvodina is 3rd team in Serbia, that tells you a lot, not the level of Crvena zvezda or Partizan. Good team but this year even younger than last season.
So, I would give advantage to Hapoel in that tie, even thou I don't know their strenght, I only read somewhere today that they finished last season out of top 3 in Israel, if that is true.
Generally, I will be very happy if one of those two - Borac or Vojvodina, go in R1 but for me Lokomotiva and Hapoel are favorites. Expecting at least draw or win for both of them, Lokomotiva and Hapoel will not go through with two wins.
By the way, everyone can write their predictions, subjective or not. Don't get excited, i could wrote 80-20 for Vojvodina but that mean nothing, just a prediction or something i would like to happen. |

Edited by: daniel at: 01-08-2008, 22:29 | Thats right, We were finished out of the top 3, But we loset at the cup final to the champions Beitar Jerusalem. How better are Vojvodina than than Borac?
And BTW - how comes Vojvodina only hardly won the team from azerbizian? I think it's a good sign for Hapoel :-) |

Re: UEFA CUP:Q2:Drawing"
I don't know if you know but I am from Germany. I am trying to have some basic knowledge about teams from all 3 regions. And I think I am doing pretty much ok in all regions ![](include/smilies/s2.gif) |

| It could be a worst draw for the Bulgarian teams, but this is not easy too. This Israeli + Borac Cacak are not some lucky teams. We could be with three into The First Round, but we could be eliminated also, considering the situation in our clubs at the moment. |

| Well, you know we Serbs always have difficulty against, on paper, easier opponents, that's ours mentality. This year, that proved with Partizan and Vojvodina drawing in Azerbaijan.
But, I also expected better performance from Hapoel...you had opponent from San Marino so you could do better than 5-0 agg.
In Serbia you have "big two", than Vojvodina, than others (among them Borac). Last year, Borac played well, they have solid team but without European experience. So, a little better draw for Lokomotiva than for you, but expecting interesting matches and hoping one Serbian team will progress in R1. |

| First of all - you are right. We should win more than 5-0 the team from San Marino. How many fans will be in the game agains Hapoel? Will the stadium be full? And - Is it right that some of the players left Vojvodina in the summer, and the best player left in last january? |

| What's the point to win more than 5-0 ? When you're leading 3-0 against a weak team after less than 30min, you don't need to waste energy. And in the 2nd leg, the game was done after the first goal, so what ? |

| Daniel,
I wrote in previous post that this year Vojvodina have younger team, so yes, they sold some of their first team players and yes, the best player Gojko Kacar, left in January to Hertha Berlin.
About attendance, probably will not be full like last year against Atletico, but decent - over 10.000. Beside games against CZ and Partizan, European games are only chance to see in stadiums in Serbia that number of people. Sad but true...like the title of Metallica song ![](include/smilies/s0.gif)
Overgame,
you have a point, and I agree with you if that is the case.
I watched Kalmar-Luxembourg and they didn't also tried to get record win or something like that, but the level of the opponent or their strength resulted with high score. They just played football!
So, if Hapoel scored and stopped after goal ok, but I didn't saw the game and i thought maybe they couldn't score more goals. |

| amazing results: after one from four matches involving Danish teams current balance of DEN is: CL: 3 wins/ 3 matches, 9-1 goals UEFA Cup: 9 wins / 9 matches, 36-1 goals 3 matches running now, 54 min Kobenhavn leads 1-0 at home, 26 min Nordsjelland leads 1-0 away and Midtjylland leads 1-0 away (vs. Man. City) so if the above results remain unchanged till end of all three games, DEN will have before the 2nd legs 15 wins from 15 games, 48-1 goal difference and 3.000 coeff |

But Lech - Grasshoppers 6-0 sounds like a big surprise after that.. Grasshoppers is not from Liechtenstein BTW![](include/smilies/s0.gif) |

EDIT: Scotland might drop to 12th position already tomorrow, if at least one Turkish and one Ukrainian teams would qualify for CL GS. |

| QOTS' run would still have ended even if they had held on to their 1-0 lead. However, they pushed for a second goal and actually had some success doing that. But then Nordsjaelland made their first good move of the game and scored on a counter attack to level the score on the day. QOTS still pushed forward to try to get the game to ET, but another fast break from Nordsjaelland gave them the winning goal on the night. QOTS did their very best, which just isn't that much, but on fight and great support from their traveling crowd, they managed to make the game much more close than anyone would've expected after the 1st leg. |

| Terrible year for Bulgaria - last time when BG team was eliminated from UEFA Cup before R1 was back in 2003-04 (Litex lost against Zimbru MDA in the only UEFA Cup Q round) - this was indeed the last year when the country had only two participants in UEFA Cup (after 2001-02, i.e. the rank valid for 2003-04, BG was 25th in the ranking list). After that year on two occasions BG champion was eliminated in Q2 CL and did not reach UEFA Cup R1 (Lokomotiv Plovdiv against Club Brugge in 2004-05 and Levski vs. Tampere in 2007-08). And today Levski was eliminated from BATE in CL... |
