Seeding in UEFA-cup- Regions

I don?t like the regions in UEFA-cup but if there were no regions EXACTLY the same teams had been seeded in the first qualifying round.

Of course we do not know for the momet but in the second qualyfiing round round there are just two teams from Switzerland, now probably unseeded, which have been seeded instead of Cherno More Varna and one of the Norweigan teams, Lillestrom or Stabaeck.

Do not speak about the weakness of the Northern Region anymore!

I don't know to tell whether the northern region is weaker or not.
But that doesn't prove anything, since teams play in their own region, so of course it will be almost equal.
It's like in FIFA rankings, where the rankings mean nothing comparing two countries from different continents (except for the top teams).

To do any kind of calculations or compare teams from different groups doesn't make sense right now. As long as we relay on existing system and assuming that some region weaker than another, looking at the coefficients gives you nothing, just by virtue of playing in supposedly "weak" region countries/teams gain unfair advantage in "phony" coefficient, at least on QRs.
In general I would like to get rid of regions, its denominates value of the tournament, teams from the same countries play each other year after year and pool is to small to make a jump. On the other hand if you want to compare countries/teams then do it based on performance/coeff beyond QRs when this division applies.

Non-snese.

If a 'region' is weaker, they will have less teams in UCGS ==> less coefficient points ==> lower seeding limit.

The points earned in the qRounds value are almost nothing for those teams.

UC GS?!?!

The teams that we are talking about is nowhere near UC GS.
We are talking about teams that are on the verge of seeded/unseeded in qualifing.

Let's take a look at last season again:

Elfsborg,Helsingborg,Brann Bergen,Aalborg all in GS with a coefficient kinda close to the verge of beeing seeded/unseeded if one had no regions.

Maybe nowhere near UC GS is an exaggeration? But then again if you take a look at teams with a coefficient close to the one of the 4 northern teams from the other 2 regions, then nowhere near GS could really be said.

I guess I was a bit exaggerating.
Again, I don't know what region is better - I just say that the fact that the coefficients are close doesn't prove anything.

Being a supporter of Welsh football nearly all the teams we play in the Norther Region are in their season and we have a big disavantage over match fitness. There is a big difference being fit and match fit.

Again, 4wins during the 2 qRounds bring you ... 0.333 points for the seedings !!!

The seedings limits are made by points won during the first round and the GS.
