most likely Goteborg - Basel

| Wow! Possibility for Murata and Santa Coloma to be seeded in CL-Q3!!
There are 5 seeded teams coming from Q2, that are the winners of:
Glasgow Rangers - (Santa Coloma - Kaunas) Panathinaikos Athen - (Dinamo Tbilisi - NSÍ Runavík) (Murata - IFK Göteborg) - Basel Fenerbahce - MTK Anderlecht - (BATE - Valur)
This makes the (possible) IFK Goteborg - basel and Fenerbahce- MTK matches even more interesting! |

| Murata will play with Aldair and Romario! Now that will improve their chances! Anybody still thinks this is a walkover for Gotenborg? |

Edited by: Floridian at: 08-07-2008, 22:23 | Ricardo,
This was a marketing trick from Murata They indeed had asked Romario to play but he refused.
Aldair played for Murata in CL QR1 last year, but it did not help them much. |

| Most certainly a marketing trick, they also asked Schumacher the former F1 driver to play for them man. |

| Beitar play in their own stadium in Jerusalem, with 20,000 insane fans |

| Awwwww, so they are in fact allowed to take their huggy bears with them to Teddy. How sweet of UEFA. 20000 fans each cuddling their huggy bear is indeed intimidating, it almost made the FCK players fall asleep last year.

| Tale a look at game 10 : F91 Diddeleng- Domzale. Diddeleng just had a draw cs Mouscron (bel), has beaten Ličge (bel) by 4-0 and an 0-1 defeat (on penalty) vs FC Metz (Fra).......F91 plays Brussels today....but i see them favorite on game 10. |

| 1 Linfield - Dinamo Z. Croats are clear favourites and I could not imagine how they will struggle in the 1st QR CL. 2 Valetta - Artmedia Slovakian champions will advance without problems. 3 Dinamo Tbilisi - NSÍ Runavík Dinamo Tbilisi undoubtely in the second round. 4 Santa Coloma - Kaunas Kaunas. 5 Murata - IFK Göteborg Gothenburg. 6 Llanelli - Ventspils Ventspils, but after even tie. 7 Anorthosis Famagusta - Pyunik I think Anorthosis, but not 100% sure. 8 Inter Baku - Rabotnicki Fifty-fifty 9 Tampere United - Buducnost Podgorica Tampere as a better team. 10 Dudelange - Domzale Domzale. 11 Dinamo Tirana - Modrica 50%-50% 12 Aktobe - Sheriff Tiraspol 40%-60% 13 Drogheda - Levadia 60%-40% 14 Borisov - Valur More chances for Borisov. |

| Inter Baku - Rabotnicki My prediction will be 2-0 Inter is a better team had a great training camp, plays at home and will have 20-25000 supporters. I can't imagine they will let this one slip away. Rabotnicki is a solid opponent but doesn't seem like one this time. Club in disarray and trying to put new team together. |

| How stronmg is Domzale? i hope Dudelange will beat them. Dudelange just has the following friendlies
Liüge (D2 Bel )- F91 0-4 F91 - FC Metz (L2 Fra) 1-0 F91 - Brussels (D2 Bel) 1-0
is Domzale better than a professional second-leam-team from France? I doubt |

Edited by: Guybrush at: 15-07-2008, 15:25 | Just to correct you a bit.Dudelange lost against Metz, not won and Liege plays D3 not D2.About your question,Domzale are solid team. Not good, not bad,but surely better than Dudelange.Of course they can lose the game in Luxemburg but they will go through. |

Edited by: Cro_nogomet at: 15-07-2008, 19:44 | I wouldn't underestimate Dudelange and write them off so easily. Few years ago they beat Zrinjski 4:0 away and qualified to CL QR2. Last year they put up a good fight against Zilina, scoring 5 goals (!) on aggregate (1:2, 4:5). |

Edited by: Rashad1112 at: 15-07-2008, 20:32 | I feel like an idiot after Inter-Rabotnichki game. Inter had 4-5 not even 100% I'll say 153% chances, I'm not even sure if Macedonians had shot on goal. But who cares final score sets wide open 2leg. |

| Domzale won the game 1-0. :-( Both teams were at least equal. First half, F91 was the better team , but didnt' score their opportunities. Wrong decision from the referee gave a free-kick to the Slowenians, and on there second occasion, they scored the 1-0, which will be the final score. In the interviews, the players and the coach from f91 believe they can qualify in slovenia, and the Slovenian team was no way better than the luxembourgish, that's a fact. |

| Ledesma is a striker from Brazil, not to be confused with Ledesma who played in Portugal for Porto(?)
Rangers have highlighted him as easily Kaunas' best player |

| Without reading to much into it, I think we all in agreement that Dinamo(Z), Petrzalka, Dinamo(T), Kaunas, Göteborg, Modrica, Domzale are already in QR2. In my opinion, Ventspils, Anorthosis, Inter(B), Sheriff, Levadia, BATE & Tampere should move to the next round. |

| As you wrote some teams are already in QR2, but I think that Domzale are still in QR1, obviously with more chances than Dudelange.
My prediction for other ties are also quite different. Borisov & Anorthosis - yes, probably Tampere too and Ventspils with a huge question mark, but not Sheriff, Inter, Levadia. I see Aktobe, Rabotnicki and Drogheda in QR2 |

| Does anyone know the fixture list for the 2nd round... More specifically Im interested in the Dynamo Kyiv (UKR) - Drogheda United (IRE) match... Where is the opening game played? In Dublin or Kyiv? |

| Ild say the match will be held at Tolka Park in Dublin (or maybe Dalymount Park also in Dublin). Drogheda (pronounced draw-ha-da) is about 30 miles to the north of Dublin but their ground isnt suitable at the moment for european football. |

| @eoinh: Yes, they'll be playing @ Dalymount Park. Im pretty sure of that, cause they played there vs Levadia.

| They might change the location as Dynamo kiev would draw more spectators. Havent heard anything about that yet though. Both matchs involving Drogheda and Kiev are going to be shown live on Irish television (RTE). |

| Draw-he-da v Kiev will be in Dalymount as crowd would not be big enough for alternative stadium.
Inter Baku seem to be lowest ranked team to progress. No real upsets. |

| All my predictions for 2nd leg came trough only Levadia let me down. Overall I agree there are no surprises just 2 unseeded team advanced (Inter & BATE) which is should be unexpected Rabotnichki just in horrible shape and Iceland teams didn't show anything in Europe for the last couple years. |
