| That's €102M over 3 seasons - so €34M a season.
According to euFootball.Biz the Belgian Jupiler League has just opened bidding on a new contract. The old one was already €36M per season.
As for the gap to the "big five". Well the new French contracts are reportedly worth €668M per season.
That's not actually that much less than the Premier League deal (£568M per year) when you take into account the current lousy exchange rates. The Premier League does get over £200M more a season for overseas rights though. |

| Interesting, compared with Dutch: used to be € 35 Mln per season, next season € 20 Mln per season + live matches still to be sold |

I see that according to the same euFootball.BIZ site the Eredivisie are so disappointed by the bids for the current rights that they are thinking of starting their own TV station.
Just to clarify though - because I found the info. on other site articles confusing.
€35M per season was the price paid for everything (live games & highlights)under the old contracts?
And now it's €20M for the highlights alone. |

| Just to clear the confusion surrounding the TV rights for Liga I, cause it seems to be a lot: over the last 4 seasons the amount was 7 mil euro/year and now it's 34 mil/year. The last amount includes taxes, so the clubs will receive 28 mil/year. The money will be divided acording to the Italian model, the first 2 teams getting 3.5 mil each, while the newly promoted around 900.000 euro. |

The clubs receive their share +TVA(not taxes). If they spend in a year money equal or more with the money recived they don`t pay TVA. In Romania this hapens very often(see the transfers). So they receive 34 mil . |

Strangely, these guys don't agree with you. And neither am I. The reason is that the TV rights are a merchandise and when you buy anything in Romania, 19% of its value goes to the state. So the clubs won't get anywhere near those ~17 mil euros. |

| Yes they pay 19% to state and if their spend the money (invest) that TVA is paid back by the state. |
