Hate posts like this! You say Portugal has no chance seeing only at 2007/08! Do you remember Sporting in 2004/05? Porto? Bendica in 2005/06? I think they are just victims of current ranking system. And 100% sure they'll return in the next season and beat your Steaua, Dinamo, Rapid, Cluj, Gloria one after another!
P.S. Agree with Overgame (see another thread). Romania will have a serious fall (like they had in 2004) having heaps of teams in CL and UC and no points. |

to say nothing about you...
Mr Honesty, geat a life. First of all, I don't see the 'progresse' in your so-called Romanian football. I don't see teams from your so-called Romanian football playing in quarters of CL or UC, etc. |

| "Romania will have a serious fall. NO it`s not possible to fall outside first 20 countrys".
Wow. "Not falling outside the top 20 countries". That'a a serious lowering of expectations from "5th for sure" or whatever past topics have been called...
I would say not falling outside the top 15 ought to be a serious goal - talking about the longer term of 4 or 5 years after the current high scores - that should ensure a top 8/9 place - are gone. |

| No, I don't hate posts like this only by 'honesty' but in general. And honesty even surprises why he gets ban from time to time (i'm afraid i deserve it too...). He doesn't like Portguese football and shows it openly unlike me - to say honestly I don't like Romanian football - so what? Have my posts ever contained that kinda discrimination?
To add. Of course, Romania won't fall outside top20 - that's sure since they have Steaua which maybe not a grandee but a real UEFA Cup team. So maybe UEFA Cup will save Romanian football as it still gives the same coefficient like CL... |

| Still i like to see Romania in front of Portugal for at least 3 years. This thing had never happened. And About Russia Vs Romania This is a joke. In every direct match in last years we beated russian teams. I can't wait for another duel. Russia had mediocre and much teams. They don`t have a strong one. It`s like in Germany - Bayern. They all are group stage teams. Zenit had luck this year.

Show me at least one example for last two years, please.

Honesty, you are perhaps the only person who says this.
Zenit drew Nurnberg. Was he lucky? Or maybe on the conrary, eh? Zenit beat Villarreal 1-0 at home. Was Pogrebnyak really lucky? Zenit beat Marseille at home 2-0. Can 2-0 victory be called a lucky victory? Zenit beat Bayer away 4-1. Can 4-1 victory be called a lucky victory? |

| So u say Zenit is a big team ? Cause if u say u are relly joking.
I said that Zenit is lucky to reach this phase of competition. They qualified at last minut in 2 ocations this year. At groupe phase they had a lucky draw.
Name one good team from witch u enounced.
Doesn't matter we will see how strong u are and what Zenit will do in CL. Cause Bayern will sure play football. |

| If Zenit are outclassed in the Champions League then that would hardly be admissable evidence in any case trying to claim Romanian teams are superior to Russian ones.
Not that I think that UEFA Cup results are all that significant an indicator as to what might happen if the same teams met in the Champions League - but Villarreal will be in the CL next year while Marseille & Bayer Leverkusen are in contention for places. Zenit beat all of them.
My hope for Zenit is that they manage to keep all their key players -the likes of Arshavin & Pogrebnyak. If they do I think they'll do OK (as long as they avoid a "group of death"). |

I sometimes don't understand you:
'relly' - really or rally? 'u' - you? 'minut' - minute? 'groupe' - group? 'witch' - not really 'witch' but 'which'?
I believe that first of all you should learn at least second-grade's English and after that palm off your 'posts' (if they are really worthy to be called so). Otherwise your posts seem to me zero, nothing, space.
@badgerboy
You are totally right with ranking the teams. Of course (as I got from honesty's post) Zenit might had luck however without luck there is no football. Look at Fenerbahce. To say, that they had expecially strong opponents? Impossible. To say they had no luck? Impossible. However, they have reached quarterfinals and it's a fact. And they defeated Chelsea. Had they luck? According to honesty, they had.
However, I'm not sure Zenit is able to pass Bayern. I knew before that Zenit should stop somewhere and that's 'somewhere' is a semifinal stage. We have already beaten all records, so that's enough for us. |

But I disagree with your opinion about Zenit. However, each person should have its own opinion and you have full rights to say Zenit is a shit team, haven't you? What can I say?.. Time will show - maybe the next Zenit's opponent will be Steaua so that match will show who is right from us both |

| Zenit did quite good job with luck or without luck. I think they can fight against Bayern too. But one teams performence doesnot measure country's football. Also Russia needs lots of investment on their stadiums. Zenith has a very very bad one and also others too. I see only Lokomotiv has a good one. Without supporter and good stadiums you cannot stay at top for a long time. |

| antonio, Zenit's chance to pass Bayern is more or less zero. So let's not hope and let's imagine Zenit next year in CL
Zenit is supported by all the 5'000'000 people's city, plus, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia, plus, other countries a bit. It's much cheaper to go to Moscow from St Petersburg and watch Spartak - Zenit, than go to our stadium and watch Zenit - Spartak. |

| Isn't a new stadium in St Petersburg in construction?
Anyway, I wouldn't say that Zenit has zero chance against Bayern... if Bayern play their best football, it will be very hard - but odd things can always happen, I remember the 2:2 against Bolton earlier this season, they were great, but still managed not to win... |

| Well - Getafe nearly beat Bayern with ten men & Zenit were brilliant in the first game with Leverkusen.
So maybe Kaiser is just trying to lure Bayern into a false sense of security (knowing their players read this forum regularly of course).
I must admit I prefer this attitude to the: "my team is going to bash everyone out of sight" variety. |

| Its going to turn Bayern topic but i want to say something about them..In my opinion they are great at Bundesliga but not UC..I always say domestic league and european cup are so different. So if Zenit will reach the final, it wont be big big suprise for me. And i think Kaiser is preparing himself for the worst but still hope somewhere inside.. |

Oh, honesty, you are brilliant! It took you almost a month to recollect that match!
National teams and clubs from that countries are different things. I hope Bert will ban you for you not to know this. And pray Zenit doesn't draw your Steauas or Clujs next year in CL! |

| Zenit-steaua in the same group would be great, to see how weak the false ro champions are, but they are in the same pot. But I hope Bayern will get steaua, to smash them, something like 7-0 on AllianzArena Russia still won the race for the 6th next season too. Only 2009/10 Romania have a chance, but they should make next 2 years about 5p/season with 6 teams, so it will be very very hard |
