| On Marca guia (spanish newspaper) I found list off all time uefa club competition statistic. On top is Barcelona with 618 points, second is Real with 613, third is Juventus with 560 and something (list was made during summer, before this year competitions.
How was points was calculated?
Victory is 2 points, draw is one point. Plus bonus points. Placemant in quater finnal, half final and final give to clubs bonus points (we can found that on this page).
There is some changes.
Since 1998 till 2003 placement in CL bring to club 1 bonus point. After 2003. placement in Champions league brings to club 3 bonus points, and placement in eith final of CL bring additional bonus point. Of course placement in quater final, half final and final of CL or uefa cup brings bonus point?
But what is confused in that list? We know that since 1998 every victory in preerounds bring only one point, every draw half point. But this list not calculated that
Does anybody khave any link to all time statistic? Does points from Intercity cup calculate or not in that list? |

according to UEFA principles, qualifying rounds should not count at all for club rankings. But well, the clubs at the top of this list hardly ever play qualifying rounds anyway, so I doubt it makes a difference. |
