| As we have already few summer leagues finished or within few matchdays from the end, we can start tracking the qualification for 2008-09 season (until Bert wil create a dedicated page on this site).
Today Republic of Ireland champion has been decided - Drogheda United secured top spot with three games to go. |

Thank you for the summary.
saras21,
In the spirit of Bert's qualification pages, I would suggest we keep postings here to the facts rather than predictions, however certain they may seem.
I guess you would understand why we would not want this topic flooded with people fighting over predictions. |

That would be one of the worst teams in UEFA Competitions. With 1 round to go, Olimps have only 8 pts in 27 games!!! 8 pts in a championship like Latvia's. Needless to say they'll "atack" Europe from the 2nd league... |

| Marathon
I think it must depend on the result of the Cup Final on Sunday. 4th placed Lillestrom play Haugesund. If Lillestrom win then the IT spot would go to Rosenborg - but if Haugesund win then Lillestrom would take the IT spot & Rosenborg would be out. |

| The short answer is "no".
The only information I have about next year at the moment is from this thread - or from other threads here or on forum 2.
Having said that I would suggest that Ricardo (you have to tab to the right to get the CL & UEFA Cup predictions for next year) and Playtony have good up to date information. |

| @marathon on your question for fair play ranking: in the past I remember UEFA have published provisional rankings begin of the year, in spring (e.g. April) and then final ranking. In 2007 the competition finished on 30 Apr 07, final ranking has been announced on 9th May and the draw for the two additional FP slots (in addition to the FP slot for the top ranked country) has been drawn on 15th May. As the fair play ranking is based on all UEFA competition matches for club and national teams for some given period (last year it was 1/06/2006 – 30/04/2007), all results are not final yet (incl. those of the finished summer leagues) and still will change till the competition’s final date. |
