Chernomorets Burgas Sofia

PFC Chernomorets Burgas Sofia, is a club based in Sofia. Although the name would imply that it has roots in Burgas, it doesn't. I think, and this is my personal opinion, that it is the scrappiest club ever. Let me tell you of this season's accomplishments:

26 games into the TBI A Football Group, the highest division in Bulgaria, they have drawn one. And lost 25. As if this wasn't enough, they were docked 3 points for failing to show up for their first two games. So in total, they have -2 points after 26 games. In addition, their goal difference is -97 (8 goals for, 105 goals against).

So, anyone feel like loving this club?

Your post made me curious to know what was the weakest club in Romania's top division in the last, let's say 35 years (so from 1970 til today). The answer is: ASA Târgu Mureş. In 1988/1989, in 34 games they collected 6 pts with GD 23-101.

About the Bulgarian minnow (I think we need to redefine the notion of minnow): I remember they promoted under the name Koneliano or something like it and their owner also finnances the real Cernomorets Burgas. But why on Earth do they play this horrible? Was there a massive player hemoragy? Cause otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Present team called Chernomoretz Burgas-Sofia is club created in base on former Conegliano-German (little village arround Sofia) from last season (team won the promotion for high league). Former CSKA's owner Vasil Bozkov was giving the money for Conegliano too. Most players was from CSKA's young team. In the begining of the season Bozkov sold or gave Conegliano to Ivaylo Drazev (who was the former owner in autentical club Chernomoretz Burgas. After the two relegation within the previous two years, and one terrible season in third level, autentical Chernomoretz was practicaly covered, but Drazev moved in Conegliano and he called team Chernomoretz again (Cherno more is bulgarian translation for Black Sea). In this way Drazev moved Black Sea with 400 km and now its beach is near by Sofia. Players is with middle age 17-18 years. The team hasnt own stadium and in spring season plays own home matches in the field of their opponent Current team Chernomoretz Burgas playing in second level is new created team and in historical view it hasn't a relation with former Chernomoretz Burgas. And another interesting fact. In season 1996/1997 another strange team without history-Rakovski Russe played in first level and finished with 1 draw and 29 loses, but they have had 1 point, and Chernomoretz will have -2

Actually, this team holds the record for terrible performance.
But the interesting thing is that their only draw was 0-0 against... Litex Lovech, our 3rd best team in coefficient ranking and 4th in league this season. They will be our UC3 team. How unlucky were they...

Very interresting end of season in Bulgaria. In case of points-equality, what's the tie?

moro: Levski wins head to head against CSKA. They still have to play the second game against Loko but most likely they won't loose by 4 goals margin, so they should be ahead of Loko in head to head too. CSKA is ahead of Loko in head to head. Very interesting season final indeed. Everything can happen with a direct Loko - Levski clash next week. The joke is that a Loko win will probably make CSKA champs Go figure it out

On the other topic I also asked why the president of Plovdiv what shot today?
If Loko wins over Levski, they pass them 1 p, isnt it?

moro: Yes, Loko Sofia can pass Levski, if they win. And nobody knows why the president of Loko Plovdiv was shot. There seems to be a curse with this team as he is the 3rd president in row who gets shot. Has nothing to do with football btw.
