| This year Andorra has a spot in CL for the league winner, and a spot in UC for the cup winner. But what if the cup winner is also the league winner?
According to the rules, the UC spot should be for the cup finalist, but I see a contradiction here: the cup runner up playing UC and the league runner up playing IC (or even nothing in the case of San Marino). For all the other associations the league runner up is guaranteed european football, but this is not the case for Andorra or San Marino.
What do you think would happen in this situation? Could it be an exception to the rules? I know it has no importance at all for the competitions, but I think some users of the forum already like this anomaly situations. |

| I think cup loser counts as the lowest entrant, so in this case the league runner-up gets precedence. |

| For the UEFA Cup there are strict rules: the losing cup-finalist qualifies for the UEFA Cup if the cup-winner qualifies for the Champions League. UEFA Cup qualification will prevail over Intertoto qualification.
For the Intertoto Cup there are no strict rules. In general, the FA can choose which club they enter. There is a rule that says that Intertoto teams have to finish in the league within 4 positions of the last qualifying spot for the UEFA Cup. But if those 4 clubs refuse, UEFA will be happy to accept another team. |
