Edited by: iwan at: 21-06-2006, 18:52 | At the tournement off the WCT who's helt now they've 15 days for the Group-stage and 15 for the play-offs, include 6 risting-days in the play-offs.
And too many situations in many pools: In that situation than.......
That country has enough at a draw but not when an otter country wins.... etcetera!!!
It's complicated too not at every day in the GS there is played in the same pool, many times 2 in one and 1 in an otter pool!!!
More logic is in 2 pools the both matches each day!!!
When they've 48 WCT-members (Europe 18,Africa,CONCACAF and Asia/Oceania each 8,COMNEBOL 5 and a host) in 16 pools of 3 for each 2 spots in the 16-th-finals they've 48 poolmatches and 32 play-offs.
In a pool off 3 in the 2-th 2 rounds it will be clear ore the highest ranked team will reach the nessissary 4 points what normaly will happening in 14 off the 16 pools, in the last round it will be clear who goes in to the play-offs too.
In the GS and 2nd round they can play 4 matches a day andt in the 1/8-th-final andt later two matches a day!!!
That means they've 12 day for the GS and 18 for the play-offs include 4 ristingdays in the play-offs.
The tournement don't will take more time than than elsware!!! |

| The team which plays first and third pool matches, and sits out second match, has more rest between matches AND knows what they need to achieve. Dream on. |

| By pools off 3 it's possible too every-body meets one team off an otter pool, like they did many times in Asia in the 70's, in the qalification off the Asiancup and the 1st groupstage off the WCT-qalification.
When 2 ore more teams has the same number off points than people can give the sresult off the 3rd match more importent than the goal difference.
Is that the same too, than the goal-difference at the totally 3 played matches. |
