| They say that in UEFA Cup's group G Shakhtar is first and Rapid second, while it should be the opposite way (Rapid has 5-2 and Shakhtar 4-1 in goals for/against). Somebody can confirm this? |

| Yes, it's an error. Rapid and Shakhtar both have +3 goal difference, but Rapid scored 5 goals while Shakhtar only 4. So Rapid is the leader. |

| It's not an error!!!! The second criteria is not "goals scored" but "goals scored in away games". Shahtar has 3 and Rapid only 2! So the rakning on UEFA.com is correct! |

| According to UEFA Cup Competition Format (http://www.uefa.com/newsfiles/19070.pdf):
"If two or more teams are equal on points on competition of all the group matches, the following criteria will be applied to determine the rankings: (a) superior goal difference from all group matches played; (b) higher number of goals scored; (c) higher number of goals scored away; (d) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association, over the previous five seasons."
It is not clear whether (b) and (c) apply to all matches in group, or only to matches between teams with the same number of points. Under the latter interpretation Shakhtar is #1, and Rapid is #2. |

| The error is finally fixed at uefa.com.
It would be unfair in the UEFA group stage to apply the rules only to matches between teams with the same number of points. As there is no home and away match for each pair of teams. |
