| If Sweden will loose in Zagreb and beat Iceland , they will have 24 points. Their current GD is +25.
Only 2 teams that can be 2.nd with 24 points are Poland and Czech Rep.
And Poland has now 24 points and GD +19. When they loose vs England they will have GD +18 or less.
So Sweden ih their 2 games(loss and winn) must not fall from +25 to +18. They will need to loose to Croatia with 9 goals and beat Iceland with 1. Then they will have + 17.
THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE.
So Sweden is IN if they beat Iceland at home.
Nice news for Croatia. |

| Sweden is promised to play for a win, then they know for 100%
that they going to Germany, and can relax in the game with Iceland.
The spare alternative would be to draw in Croatia. Loosing is not considered at all as alternative, even though Sweden will win with
Iceland anyway. |

| Well, you give us a very, very positive image of the Sweden, but I still remember this "innocent" draw 2-2 with Danes in Euro 2004 as well as the home loss against Latvia in last match of qualification. |

| Slovan - about innocent draw with Denmark. I think Sweden was 1:2 down in that game. If it would be vice versa one may think about something .. So I am not sure what are you implying at least from Swedish site?
And generaly - if I would be Danish I would intentionally punish the "spitters"-gang.
Now about game with Latvia, of course this was disaster and team did not really care - so the result was corresponding to the attention paid. It's a shame that this in fact affect the placing in qual. group in the final end. |

| I like your enthusiasm and don't wish to fight with you.
However,if the only suitable result for both teams was 2-2, it was not so important who scored first and who second.
And you see, when they knew they needn't care they lost a game which should be won (the Poles certainly counted with this Swedish victory). And that was what our dinamozagreb was implying (with his own good reasons, I presume.)

SWEDEN IS IN ALREADY. THEY DON'T NEED TO WIN VS ICELAND.
THEY HAVE GD +24 AND 21 PTS
CZECH REP HAS 18 PTS AND GD +14 (OR +9)....IT IS A FANTASY THAT CZECH R CAN CATCH THAT.....
