The Swedes did it!!!!!!!! I am very happy..... it's since Royal League i look with big interest to Thorvaldsson.... he's very good in my opinion.... anyone knows something about his past????
I love HBK in Allsvenskan 2004 where they can even win.... this year they played not so good but he can win topscorer crown!!!

Other considerations\questions:
to Kronsky: what the hell happened to Wisla????
Someone can describe me last 5min in FCK-Hamburg???

Finally congratulations to Romania and Bulgaria.... very good job!!!
Especially Cska Sofia and Rapid Bucuresti did great

The last 5 mins in Copenhagen were quite dramatic, HSV got their 2nd penalty in the extratime (they missed their first). Apparently for hands, which wasn't very obvious. Van der vaart scored easily on the penalty, and then there wasn't much actual action but two red cards were given, both for Copenhagen, one for objecting and one for a tackle. The ref seemed to have lost control of the match for the last 10 mins, and all in all I think there were given 14 cards 13 yellow 2 resulting in red, and 1 direct red. Oh and HSV's trainer got one as well. Apparently the ref hasn't been asigned to matches in the premiership for the last year because of his incompetence. guess that says it all...

All in all HSV had the upper hand through out the entire match, but the circumstanses were... hmmmm... bizarre

Fully agree.

Two additional remarks:
- The ref didn't show red cards only for FCK players, but also to HSV defender Boulahrouz. Has been the only one that MIGHT have been deserved.
- Both penalties that the ref allowed were ridiculous. The only one that MIGHT have been deserved (when a danish player pushed Barbarez in his back) was not allowed.

Crazy. And the ref was not from Ecuador, but from England.

I can't beleive my eyes this morning !! I stopped monitoring the result on 90th minute since I was sure it ended 1:1, so I thought another disaster season especially after Malmö's humilation 1:4.
Hopefully Halmstad which not doing well this season will play attractive football in group stage

Yeah, vakho, I saw the match on TV, and almost swapped to another channel. Then our Lithuanian(?) friend scored in the 93rd minute. Congrat to Halmstad and Sweden (and you)!. Sweden really needed this after some meager and (close to) disastrous years in Europe.

Halmstad may absolutely pick up some points in UCGS. Hard work and dicipline are still important values in football. No offense to Sporting.

Talking about Sporting, in another topic about the most unlucky teams in Europe lately, Sporting was mentioned. They had the lead in Portuguese PL with three matches to go last season. Ended up third, picked maybe the toughest unseeded team in CLQ3 (Udinese), but - and this is a BIG but - if they are not able to eliminate a mediocre Swedish team, maybe we may look for other explanations than just bad luck...
