Date: 29-09-2005, 21:55 | Unbelievable!!! I am from the city of Petach Tikva, it's a small city, but the about the 5th in Israel, with population about 130,000. No one in Israel believed that this team can beat Partizan in Belgrade, none the less qualify to the group stage! But what a great game. There aren't many supporters to this team, but I think that now children will start support this team and overcome their city's rival, Hapoel. So Israel might still got a small chance for the 15th place... I think Maccabi can get a few points in the group stage, I guess about 3 points (: |

Red Star won against PSV in Belgrade, but suffered from heavy away loss and Zenit demolished us while team was in knockdown. However, PSV reached almost CL final that year, and Zenit was also better at that time. BUT, no offense to Israeli's, to get trashed at home by Maccabi is so... I'm speechless. It's not shame, it's criminal. But I'm not sorry for Partizan, they deserved some pounding like that, too bad they couldn't hold on until 15th of the oct... :>> |

It must have been a cruel and unbelievable experience for Partizan-supporters, but shit happens in football, thats why we love the game. Btw, when was the last time Partizan conceded 5 goals on their home ground, and how often has that happened? |

This game is sold,Partizan,`till this game wasn`t conceded any goal (Sheriff 1-0,1-0 ; Artmedia 0-0,0-0 ; Maccabi 2-0),and now they concede FIVE! Same sold as Porto do with Artmedia,money do everything! |

It's too bad for Partizan, but it's their reality - THEY SUCK! Some player Babovic is playing regularly just because his father is 'big name', attackers can't score for months, youth players wait for moths to get chace to play, Simon Vukcevic is already in clouds as he think he is a star already... In Serbia league, half of the teams play for Partizan, that is how they are leaders, outside of Serbia they are zero. I also don't remeber them losing with 5 goals at home, but in away matches... hihihi... Anyhow, pride of Serbia with knocking out Newcastle?!? Hahaha, anyone remebers how they played afterwards, in CL? And all of that was one man's achievment - Lothar Matthaus... Just how lucky they are that Artmedia got in CL instead... Inter and Rangers would score at least 7-8... :>> |

According to myths/history Rurik from Sweden was the founder of the Rus nation. Sweden is called "Ruotsi" in Finnish. Meaning (probably) boatmen. But that doesn't mean that all Russians are Swedes - or boatmen. Or again, what do I know?
