| What do you think about this match. I have seen the goals, all of then are brilliant!!! Samara is 13 of 16 in Russia. Before the match I thought that the draw would be very good result for Krylia. Russia is in shock!! Samara city is crazy I believe. |

| I think russian teams are always dangerous and this result will be a problem for Alkmaar to go thru to group stage |

| May be you didn't understand the whole drama. Shotrly, they were rather strong last season. But his spring they came into great crisis. They lost 7-8 key players from the starting lineup. They lost all their leaders. Not to relegate from Russian league this August they signed some youngsters and free agents in the Russian markets. These are last results:
Dynamo - KS 3-1 Alania - KS 2-0 KS - Terek 0-1 Tom - KS 4-2 KS - CSKA 2-2 Zenit - KS 4-1 KS - Torpedo 0-1
1 point from 7 games. They scored 20 goals in 22 games. And tonight they made 5!!!! And what goals!!! Great dribble, pass, brilliant header from corner, bicycle kick and magic far shot at the and of the match. It seems David Coperfield is Samara's fan.
P.S. I was sure in AZ win 2-0 or 3-0 |

| Yeah, the worst AZ game in years...
Can happen every now and then. Every ball went in for Samara. And for AZ too. I think AZ was arrogant and couldn't turn the game. Maybe it's possible to go through although, but if not I'm not disappointed. As in that case we can focus for the Dutch title. |

| Yes, it was a very productif match!!!! But AZ must win with 2-0 ore 3-1, than they'll winn about away-goals, but they've a problem when they win with 1-0 ore 2-1!!
I think they'll gonne winn with away-goals!!!! |

| Well, frankly speaking, I have no doubt AZ will proceed in group stage. But I'd like to emphasize this result itself. I can't say AZ was arrogant. The were not, of course they played bad with 3 lucky shots. But Samara scoring five... I suppose Krylia are not better than Vitesse for instance who lost 0-5 at home. |

| In Dutch competition AZ got 1 goal in 5 matches. Now 5 in 1 match. They were obvious not concentrated. They expected to win easy and they didn't. I'm sure they can turn around this tie, but they will have to do better than yesterday |

| It was a very surprising match. I think AZ is able to score 2 goals in their home match, but will te be able to keep their defence closed. After yesterdays match i'm not so sure about that. |

Edited by: Osirius at: 18-09-2005, 02:06 | I'm from Russia and for me this result is good for my eye and heart. Before the games everybody gave their predictions and there were some like 100%-0% in AZ favour.Rediculous persentage. But from another point of view I understand the people.People from Russia clearly understand the problem of KS they lost a lot of players and Russian PL results and the playing itself show how they are bad.For people abroad only results and table available(and from it they can see the same as we here).I myself gave no more than 20% in KS as I thought and still think that AZ the favorites. For me KS had the same chances as Midtjulland against CSKA Moscow. We have to be frankly the KS was very lucky that day 5 goals and all of them are from different positions, combinations and I say that such goals you can hardly see scored in several games, but here several fantastic goals in one game. The match reminded me tha match of last year Portugal-Russia 7-1 when almost every shot from different distance was in our squad net. Such goals difference I didn't expect fom KS.So still AZ the favorites I give 55-45 in AZ favour, but the match still gives good hopes for KS |

| By the way Samara lost again. This time away to Shinnik 1-3. Now they are one point far from relegation. |

| I'm almost certain that AZ will score at least 2 goals next week. Now I just hope that Krylya won't score (that much). |

| Don't worry. AZ is much better team and they will confidently do their work at home. But Samara won't forget the recent match for a long time... |

| Penalties on the last minutes always look suspicious. It looked like the ref decided that to show a red card to the Russian player is not enough help for AZ. |

At the Dutch television it was said that there was only one AZ supporter in Samara. Did that happen to be you?
Anyway, congratulations with the narrow escape. |

No, that wasn't me. I went to all 7 away matches last season, but Samara was to expensive for me. Luckily I have another occasion to go to this season after the narrow escape tonight. |
