In Country ranking 2005 at place 9th and 10th there is Scotland an Belgium with equal points.
I assume that the better placed country has scored more points in the last year. But what happens if the points in the last year are the same. Is then the year before used?

| In the UEFA CL and UC regulations Annex II.9 is written: "In the case of equal coefficients, the UEFA Administration will take a final decision, taking into consideration the individual coefficient of the most recent season. "
So it's undefined what will happen if the coeffcients of the most recent season are the same. To my knowledge that did not occur yet. |

| In this graph you see that Andorra and San Marino have switched places several times. Bert answered this question long time ago (I couldn't find the link), it was something relative to his software, but not alphabetic order. |
