| Check this out.
Seems like a good deal for Milan and not-so-good for Real Madrid. There's a reason why Ambrossini haven't played much lately. Whenever it was him rather than Pirlo, Milan looked kind of weak.
That reminds me that there were talkings, earlier this season, about Davids coming to Milan. Good for Milan once again.
I wonder who they're going to give up... |

| Is there any connection between Beckham going to Real Madrid and Real Madrid not getting to the last 8 of the CL 2 seasons in a row? |

| macaskil, a very sure "yes". (But of course, not the only reason)
oribd, a very sure "maybe". Becks was a loss to ManU, but as things had developed, well ... And Cristiano Ronaldo is getting better and better. |

| Well, I think Beckham is underrated. Take Real-Juve for instance, everybody said Zidane was outstanding, but who was responsible for the goal? That's right, Beckham. |

Edited by: ralfinho at: 18-03-2005, 03:57 | Becks is the best on earth kicking freekicks. (Not Roberto Carlos ) And playing in right midfield. Do you know where he plays for Real? Defensive midfield. So what? Again, the only reason for Real signing Becks was selling shirts. Their problem. Subterranians, not galactics. |

| I'm not really fan of Galacticos but I like their show on arena ![](include/smilies/s0.gif) First idea it's strange to exchange Beckham when everybody knows Figo will leave soon. But secondly it would be strange in any other europian team, but not in Real ![](include/smilies/s2.gif) |

| Beckham is really one of the best players and showmen in football now.Something wrong now in Real, and for him may be it'll be better to move somewhere.Milan is the perfect place . Hierro was wright when he told about management mistake of firing Del Boske. |

| Becks is overrated, but not by himself. He is a hard-working player, no primadonna, always sympathetic and polite (no spitting) on and off the field, and he has got nothing for free. According to Solskjaer, he and Becks and Cantona normally were the last to leave the training ground in ManU, Becks could stay on for hours after the training, practising free-kicks.
And as ralfinho wrote, for Real Madrid he is in there for the free-kicks and selling T-shirts. Long before he left ManU, I rated his value as X euros as a player, and the double (maybe triple?) of that for sale of spin-off-paraphernalia.
Norwegian friends of mine that have been in places like Madagaskar, Paraguay or Laos, when telling where they come from, a bunch of 'jungle' kids and youngsters shout "Solskjaer, Solskjaer". And Solskjaer is just a little shrimp in the ocean compared to Becks.
I think most of us were puzzled when RealM bought Becks. What RealM needed, was not spending (government ) money on another offensive midfield player, but trying to fix their defence. We have not been proven wrong.. |

| Fully agree, anita (as almost always), but one more point to Real: This season - in contrary to before - they at least tried to stengthen the defense. Signed Woodgate (for how much was it? 30 mio. Euro?) who could not play the entire season up to now. Unlucky, of course, but typical. Signed also Samuel. Better than the defenders before (Pavon, Raśl Bravo, Sainz etc. etc.), but not that strengthening. When Michel Salgado was injured for some matches a few weeks ago, they had absolutely nobody to replace him. Raśl Bravo had to play on the right defense side. Ridiculous. And then, in their desperation during the winter break, they signed Gravesen. Gravesen! Poor Helguera. |

| Indeed, ralfinho! Nothing wrong with Gravesen, but absolutely not with the skills RealM need in their defence. |
