Date: 11-01-2005, 09:58 | As you probably know Eurosport established the new channel Eurosport2. Do know whether they plan to increase UEFA cup coverage from summary that is at original EuroSport to showing some of full games ? |

Date: 11-01-2005, 11:54 | They are in the air from yesterday actually. Of course the fight clubs , sumo and sailing etc are not really the ones public likes to watch. However they have good coverage of youth football as well as winter sports. |

ESPN and ESPN2 show fishing, hunting, poker, bowling and billiards in prime time without any shame. It is horrible.....And that plus some college sports, the NFL and talk shows are the only things they show. I miss my EUROSPORT! |

During last waterpolo European championship there was not one word about it on those two channels. I could not believe my eyes. Not even one-sentence news to note that the competition had actually taken place. And they are half American anyway. |

Date: 11-01-2005, 14:02 | Eurogoals were *improved* this year including German, Italian and Enlish league summaries. However they get rid of Belgian league. Currently they summarise Spanish, Italian, English, French, German, Portugeese and Dutch leagues. Exclusion of Belgian legue actually made me sad. You can see on any channel Premiership , La Liga, Serie A , Bundesliga summaries. But report from leagues like Belgium, Czech. Rep, Greece, Turkey and other countries are impossible to see anywhere. To compare with Eurosport the sport cable channel in Scandinavia (Viasat) sucks even more. They included now new sports (check the list): Baseball, American football, Poker, Billiard, Bull-riding, Golf (almost all the day) etc. In addition they opened new channels with most of programmes from: Manchester United TV, Chelsea Tv ... I just wonder whether someone watches those stupid channels ... |
