| By the way. From who did you receive these dates? I don't see anything yet on the site of the UEFA. |

| If this were correct, and I don't doubt about the information of Bert, the intertoto cup should keep the same format. |

| I got the info from a single source that proved to be reliable in the past. I don't know all the details, but if I understood well, the dates come from some kind of UEFA 2005 diary. I suppose that this "diary" has been sent by UEFA to the national associations and/or clubs. |

| If you take last years(June-Dec 2004) dates and substract 1, you get exactly this list: Absolutely nill changes compared to last year. I hardly can believe this would be true. Maybe it's the eintention, but England and other big countries will come and say that they have friendlies or cup-matches planned, so it might change! |

| They had the friendly's and Cup matches also this year, so no need for changes. This season all English clubs were free on the 4th matchday of the UEFA-cup groupstage, so the same can be done for next year.
By the way, both English teams still in the UEFA-cup were already eliminated in the League Cup, so there was no need for this rule. |

| I just can't understand why days 5 and 6 os UCL group phase and days 4 and 5 of Uefa Cup are scheduled in four different weeks. |

| I guess the reason is that in this way the match days 4 and 5 of UC can be split on 2 days (wednesday / thursday). Means more TV coverage etc. |

| So these are the remaining dates according to the DFB-site:
CL round 2: 21/22 February & 7/8 March CL QF: 28/29 March & 4/5 April CL SF: 18/19 April & 25/26 April CL final: 17 May
UEFA-cup round 3: 15/16 February & 23 February UEFA-cup round 4: 9 March & 15/16 March UEFA-cup QF: 30 March & 6 April UEFA-cup SF: 20 April & 27 April UEFA-cup final: 10 May
So the only changes compared to this season are that the QF's, SF's and finals are 1 week earlier than this season. |

| its earlier most like ly due to WC 06 i head FIFA made a rule saying they wanted all club competitions to be done by May 14 wouldnt that affect the final being on May 17? |

| They made an exception for the CL-final, I read somewhere earlier. |

| Champions League final is the only match for which exception was made. |
