| yep ,i m happy too ,cause maybe dnipro will get them ,and its definitly better than ZENIT , and say hello to UKRAINIANS IN spring,we will rock you !!shahtar will get some club from western europe and loose it again not because they tooo weak -but they ccant play against club without any major titles (roda,austria,brugge,cska,boavista) |

| Well done indeed. Of course 2nd league clubs have reached the last 4 of the old CWC.
In view of this I wonder why more middle ranking teams in the big leagues don't go in for the Intertoto cup. If they get through they must have a good chance of progressing in the UC. |

| As far as I know the clubs are Cardiff City and Atalanta Bergamo.
West Ham were a 1st division club when in the CWC final in 1976. They reached the last 8 in 1981 when in the 2nd Division - in the same year Newport County reached the last 8 as a level 4 club - which I think must be some sort of record! |
