So my favorite game of prediction : Actual coeff for Ukraine : 7,100 With "bad future" : - Kiev : 0pts in CL + 2pts in Uefa cup - Donetsk : 2pts in 3rd round - Dniepr : 2pts in 3rd round Finish year with 8,300 With "good future" - Kiev : 1pt ( bonus 1) + 3pts in 2nd round (bonus 1)+ 1pt in quater CL - Donetsk : 3pts in uefa 3rd + 2pts in 4th round + 1pt in quater - Dniepr : 3pts in uefa 3rd as seeding team + 2pts in 4th round + 1pt in quater Finish year with 10,900 Just with a top in quater of final Imagine with more ... |

Date: 07-12-2004, 23:31 | Based purely on coefficients, Ukraine get six more points and so extrapolate out to 8.300 this year on my spreadsheet. I think three from Dnipro, four from Kyiv and 3 from Shakthar is very realistic given current form. That would be 9.1 for the season... Dunc |

But I thought Shaktar is from the Eastern, Russion-oriented part of Ukraine? And thay always play in that color, don't they? I found it a stupid remark, that there was no reason to make this connection. Congratulation ofcourse to Ukrainian teams. Sorry for Kiew to not make it to the CL. But it is better for their coefficient, I'm afraid. |

It`s the same thing that phrase after DK-Roma game "Dynamo won only(!) thanksgiving to orange ball" what was very popular in "fair" press & TV; sententions about "Shakhtar won't play in their orange T-shorts" or "Ihor Surkis payed to Roma for they played in blcak not orange" and other stupidity... That's our opposition - do you enjoy it? Many people in Western countries are. Me not. Who is correct??? And what are the arguments??? Politics is suxxx - let's turn it AWAY from football! |

Orange - is the color Shahtar's t-shirts and it's been like that since I remember this team ( at least for the past 20 yrs ).... Back then their was no independent Urkaine neither there was any opposition. |

Dynamo's colours are blue-white, but the majority of Kiev's people support Jushchenko (English spelling?) which means orange. Shakhtjar's colous are orange but the people there in majority support Janukovitch which means blue-white. |
