The team doesn't have an official site, neither fan homepages, actually it used to have one but it's down since a couple of years ...

Ooops just saw, they are developing one at the moment, but there isn't much info there, however if you like check it out:

What I can tell you in brief is that the team is founded somewhere in the middle of the twentieth century, it used to play mainly in the second division of the Bulgarian championship. The club changed several names - it was called Karpachev (Lovech) by the name of communist who died in 1943 in the early year of communism era in Bulgaria, then the club changed its name to Osam (not Osama the 'A' is not prounced like in bin Laden's name , Osam is the name of river that crosses the town of Lovech). Later on, in the early nineties the club took the name of his new sponsor Lex (Lovech). Lex being a financial "pyramide" that promised high interest rates but in fact never returned the money of its investor.
Under the name of Lex (Lovech) in 1994 (the club being in second division) the team won promotion to first division.
In their first season in the premier leaugue since many years (1994/1995) they finished 12th. Hoewver in the next season after Lex company colapsing, the team lacking financial resources was relegated at the end of 1995/1996 season. The club name was once again changed - this time to Lovech.
In the next year back in second division they found a new sponsor Litex Commerce it's one the biggest holdings in Bulgaria at present, and also it's an owner of the club at the moment. This helped the team to win the second division championship immediately and to be promoted to the first league once again after the 1996/1997 season.
Since then they're one of the major clubs in Bulgaria.
The club won it's first two championships in 1997/1998 & 1998/1999. It also won twice the National Cup and it's participating regularly in the european competitions since the last 5 or 6 years.

Well that's all, if you have any other questions, I'll try to answer them.
Their first title was won in 1998
