| You could also call FC Vaduz a second division club. they play in Swiss 2nd division (together with Will).
And further there is Kispest Honved which now play in the top level, but last season qualified while being in 2nd level. |

| And know Aachen has got good chance to get next stage. ![](include/smilies/s2.gif) One point at home with Zenit... and maybe against AEK already out in the last game. |

| Aachen can be an example to some 'bigger' clubs in Germany that fail in UEFA Cup. Last year Dortmund was a favourite to move into champions league group stages, it failed and then it also failed in UEFA Cup. |

| Hi, I can only say: Well done, Alemannia. The difference to the big clubs is in my opinion, that Alemannia really fighted to win this game. It seems to be an honor for all those players to play for Germany in Europe. It's very unlikely, that they will get the same chance again, and therefore they try to do there best and give even more than a 100% of their abilities. If you look for example at Willi Landgraf, a defender who has played only in the 2nd German division for his complete football career and will be the record player in the 2nd league at the end of the season. What a feeling it must be for him to play in the UEFA cup! Dortmund had the feeling, that UI cup spot is being something for losers, and therefore the efforts of the players were too arrogant. That's why I think they lost in this competition. Another advantage for Alemannia: they are underestimated by their opponents. Just my 2 cents, Topsi |
