(reason, i'm working (studentjob) in a highwayroad shop, en there are a lot of polish truckdrivers who are travelling through Europe, but don't know any language (though they are often young). And could you translate this into Polish (if someone could do this into russian, ukrainian & czech too, this would be great): "You can only buy autoway-vignets at the border between City1 and City2, opening hours: 8.00 - 17.00 in the week Saturday and Sunday closed There is no sale anywhere in belgium" |

Later in secondary school you were learning another language of your choice and continue russian. Now I believe children start to learn english early, but you can't really expect to much (sorry to offed anyone) from truckdrivers... The system is not like in Scandinavia where almost everybody speeks english. I would translate this text but I hardly understand what is it "border between cities". |

The rest is mostly english speaking - or mostly non-speaking I'm afraid. About border - If I understand clearly it is former border between Belgium and other country, yes? And it's situated between two cities? And you can't buy vignettes anywhere else inside the country only on its borders, true? I'm asking all of this, because I can't understand if you don't have the vignettes and want to get rid of annoying customers asking for them, or you sell the vignettes and are informing that the place where you work is the only place where they can buy them? |

I have met quite a few when I was in London, or now in the US, and they all not only spoke a perfect English (much better than mine, that is probably above the French average), but most of the time they also spoke perfectly another foreign language. Of course, these guys were not trcuk drivers, but still I was impressed. |

Don't talk about FORMER border, there's still a border, though there ain't a real border guard anymore. and youre correct on everything except for the last sentence: we don't sell these tickets, and we want to point our NICE :D customers the way to the only place where they sell it . |
