| Does the losing finalist in the Portugese Cup go in to the Uefa Cup if the finalist is already qualified for Europe? |

| In this case:
FC Porto vs. Benfica. The looser will go to Europe either way. As Benfica is going to finish third, they are going to UEFA Cup either way (by winning it or by being 3rd in the league). |
