Date: 17-02-2004, 08:36 | I just had a look at the access list of EURO 2004 and I think these will be the favourites: Van Nistelrooy, Henry, Trezeguet, Owen, Pauleta, Vieri, Di Vaio. I think one of these is gonna be the topscorer. It's difficult to predict, before the WC 2002, I thought Trezeguet would be the topscorer, but as you knows France didn't score once !! |

Date: 02-03-2004, 23:56 | I hope you're not too serious, Kerrbhoy. However, you may get great odds at your local bookie, since both Shearer and Larsson have retired from international football. I think the top scorer will from one of the "smaller" countries such as Czech Republic, Croatia, Portugal, Greece or Switzerland. By smaller, I don't mean weaker, but just not generally regarded as one of the great footballing nations such as France, Spain, Italy, Germany and even England. That makes Koller, Baros, Prso, Mornar, Pauleta, Nikolaidis, Charisteas and Frei my favourites. Of course, Henry is also a very good candidate, but I think it's more fun to find an outsider. My number one guess would be Dado Prso since he has scored plenty of goals recently and Croatia will probably score some goals in their group and maybe even progress. Michele |

Now, I only have to find out how much I want in return if he wins. Is there some sort of handicap on the 51.00 bet? Headers don't count or something like that?
