| Czech Republic, Portugal and Spain have the biggest chances. I like the style of Czechs. I wish you a good luck
We have a chance, but it's very hard to change our minds. The England match made us very desperate that we couldn't win a big match yet... (We=Turkey of course) |

| Papanas Thank you for your travelling support. As you spoke about east i think we are somewhere in the middle in some cases closer to the west. Romania played unhappy qualifying because lost decisive matches against Norway and Denmark. Did you see this matches? Unfortunately we missed so many World cups. Last time we were the member of WC in 1990 in Italy! I hope that so many players from our star team will promote to Germany 2006 and we cane meet each other there what do you think. |

| I am a Besiktas fan, Papanas...
And I am getting angry about pancu, he has not played a good game since he had a contract extension.
By the way, how is it pronunced? Like "Panchu" or "Panku"? It is wondered since he came to Turkey. |

| As a Frenchman, I saw a very good Czech team beating us in Paris 2-0 in a friendly game and they fully deserved the victory. But if being an excellent team is a necessary condition to expect to win the Euro 2004, it is often not sufficient enough. You also need experience, it's very important, some luck as well, etc. Czech Republic belongs to this of 6-8 teams able to win the Euro, that is the only thing we can say now. Portugal as host country (and as a good team too), Spain that will finally win something one day, France, Italy and Netherlands who have to take a revenge, England one the most consistent European teams these last years also have good reasons to be in that group of favourites. And there will be just one winner. |

| If we take for granted that the teams that played well in the Qualifying Round will do so next summer, the Czech Republic would be a natural favourite. But (sad but true) "history" reminds us that the best team doesn't always win the World Cup, European Championship,... In '96 the german team was a very modest one and France, Portugal etc. proved themself to be worthy of winning the tournament much more than Germany. The same is valid for last years WC.
so, it would be a pleasur for me to see Nedved, Rosicky etc. winning in Portugal, but I fear that there will be the same well-known countries on top as always. |
