DYNAMO KYIV IS THE CHAMPION OF UKRAINE!
Author: mike Date: 17-06-2003, 20:20	The best Ukrainian team Dynamo Kyiv have win 10-th championship award. I think in the next season they will fuck many teams, as sucked Brondby or Brugge etc. I think they will go to the 1/8 of CL. And what's your opinion?

The same applies to most of the other teams so telling now which team will advance to the 1/8 finals is pure guess. I have to tell that the language you used made me wish that they will not reach the group stage. Even better if they will be bitten by Brugge or Brondby

Now Dinamo Kiev is the Champion of Ukriane after they won 4-2 Metallist Kharkiv and Dinamo take part in QR3 of CL.

Shakhtar Donetzk won 3-0 Arsenal Kiev but they missing the champion,and now thay take part in QR2 as seed team.

and Metallurg Donetzk in UEFA Cup and Dnipro too.

But I have a question:
On Cup winners of Ukraine Dinamo Kiev won 2-1 Shakhtar,and from Ukraine the beat team of the cup winners take part in the 1st round, but Dinamo and Shakhtar in CL,so Which team take part in 1st round of UEFA Cup the 3 place in Ukraine?(Metallurg D.)

I can say that you are not have many information. Do you know that Dynamo have a European record - 6(!) years from 1997/1998 to 2002/2003 they played in CL? Dynamo always have great players. Let's remember Oleg Blokhin, Igor Belanov, Oleg Protasov, Andriy Shevchenko, Serhiy Rebrov and many, many other. And do have clubs as Brugge or Brondby such players?

In the next season there will not of leaders go(as Valentin Belkevich, Olexander Shovkovskyi, Andriy Husin, Maksim Shatskikh). And Dynamo have very intersting coach as Olexiy Mykhailychenko (he is 6 years was assistant of Valeriy Lobanovskiy).
And "great" clubs as Brugge, or Brondby, or FC Kobenhavn must sucked in UEFA Cup, or better in Intertoto

I think that Mike wright Dinamo kiev is a great team with good player and they bought yesterday one player who played in Hapoel Tel Aviv-"Denis Onischenko". I think that Dinamo will take part in the groups stage this year. And Mike thank you about Metallurg and Dnipro.

Author: seol Date: 10-07-2003, 18:26	maybe a bit late, but i haven't seen it before: Club Brugge DO have always great players, remember: Franky Van der Elst Jan Ceulemans Marc Degryse Daniel Amokachi Jean-Pierre Papin Mario Stanic Khalilou Fadiga and many others I agree with others that i'd like to see Club Brugge playing Dinamo Kiev. I'm gonna be polite, unlike others, but Club would shatter Kiev.

Wasn't 0:5 a delaiyed game in Izmir, because there was a snowfall in Istanbul in September! , it rings the bell ...
Anyway Dynamo consisted of legendary players that time, and Turkey's level of football was not that high.

By the way off topic - I remember in that year or about, Is it true that Galatasaray - Xamax 5:0 (first leg 0:3) result was canceled because swiss claimed that supporters were "very noisy" and UEFA approved it, however later UEFA took the decision back since Galatasaray fans traveled to Switzeralnd and demanded
the victore back. There was no internet that time

, but I heared it on TV however can't find this anywhere.

yes, it was played in Izmir, but i can't remember its reason, it can be a snowfall or a stadium-ban. But it wasn't in september, because it was quarter-final. It was the eleventh season of Besiktas in European cups and we passed a single tour for the first time. We beat Dinamo Tirana in both matches, than Apoel Nicosia didn't come to Istanbul. In 1974-75 we beat Steagul Rosu of Romania 2-0 in Istanbul, in the return match, at the 85th min, the score was still 0-0, but we managed to be defeated 3-0 and eliminated. (Besiktas legends

galatasaray's neuchatel match is still a legend in our football history, it was the first of our good reaults in the recent years, goals were scored by Ugur Tütüneker 19, 77, Tanju Colak 54, 80, 89.
But UEFA's decision was not because our spectators were noisy, it was because of the coin thrown from the stands, and hit the assistant referee

After the decision, one of the respectable(!) Turkish newspapers wrote the headline: "Sons of the Bitches", it is still spoken...

But then UEFA took the decision back, but Ali Sami Yen was closed for two games, Gala played Monaco match in Germany, and Steaua match in Izmir... They played in the semifinal and eliminated by Steaua Bucuresti.
